This is a writing piece about my favourite moment in 2023 at school, We tried to use show don’t tell, it’s about P.t Erin pools.

My Writing:BOOM! I heard the sounds of people bombing off the diving board while waiting in line. Finally, it was my turn. Enthusiastically, I walked up the steps onto the diving board. I got a running start and leaped off the diving board. SPLASH! I went straight into the water then I popped right back out gasping for air and swimming to the edge of the water, my smile stretched from ear to ear, looking forward about the day that was ahead of me.

I found the coming back out of the water bit hard because I was stumped for ideas

This is my writing paragraph from the punctuation part 2 post.

We had written one paragraph about an image, the image had Tane Mahuta  and we had to make a paragraph about him.

I enjoyed the descriptive words as it was fun to come up with them.

I found the second sentence challenging because I struggled to find words and ideas.

Here it is:

When Emma suddenly took a stroll into nature’s paradise, she stumbled into something magical… “Ow that hurt” Emma sobbed, she had run into something. As she turned to see what she ran into, she saw the biggest tree ever. Amazingly, this tree was huge, It was big, and brown, also its roots stretched super far. Soon, the sun started to shine, but with the shade of the brown tree Emma was fine. Sadly, it was time to go. Emma thanked the tree for the shade and warmth it provided and she walked off.

Today i am showing you one of my creative writings that I have done.

it is below:

One beautiful morning, two energetic and excited astronauts prepared for their trip to mars. Things like this only happen once in a blue moon so they had to be ready, in fact they have been planning for a whole two years. Quickly, they grabbed all their things, and met up at the station. It was time…

Doubtful, they stepped onto the Rocket Ship and then the countdown started 10, 9. 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Boom! One of the astronauts, Howard was still unsure about this but, the other one Michael was stoked. After one month of living on the Rocket they both had to write a message about what it was like living on the rocket  “it’s not that great living here all our stuff floats and once when one of us threw up it just floated in midair.” thought Howard. “It’s great up here! Although they are some negatives, like everything floating and our food crumbs go flying. Still what could go wrong…

When they finally arrived in Mars Michael stepped on to the ground and said “that’s one small step for man and one giant leap for mankind. Slowly, they looked around and just thought wow. Suddenly, the rocket ship flew away leaving them behind all they could do is send a distress signal but since the rocket had all their things it was only a matter of time before they died. Unfortunately they did die but before Michael did he said “thank you and goodbye”.

I am really proud of this writing because I did it in just one day and it is very descriptive.

Here are the sentences, Shocked, everyone pointed and stared cautiously at the ginormous elephant stomping its way out of the elegant painting. Splash! water began coming down onto the decorated floor very quickly.

This is about my black hole writing which we have done in week 8 and 5.

Anyway here is it summarized.

A man called timothy went in a black hole to another universe decided to stay in that universe then changed his mind and  left and woke up as an octopus but it was all a dream.

This is my favorite sentence

Let it goo Let it gooo cant hold it back any more” singed Tina/Timothy

“Woop Woop Woooo”cheered the crowd.

This week I wrote a story  about some sort of plane called the Zepper 2040 that could fly in the sky. The Zepper 2040 was as fast as a car, it didn’t make any climate change or do anything bad for the earth and it could get you up a mountain.

This is one of my favourite sentences about the Zepper 2040!

Surprisingly, the Zepper 2040 was very fast. It has a sausage shaped balloon at the very top.  Beautifully, it has a shining ball on the bottom and It also has a speedy turbine and a wonky ladder.

Do you think i could use a different sentence starter instead of is?(tell me the word)

I did Writing of a slide called memories and its about a man called Mark who is very sad that his brother has died in the war. I found  coming up with deatalied sentences tricky. Could you give me any feedback

It was 1944 on a snowy winter’s morning at a beautiful cemetery, Mark was visiting his brother who died in WW2.The same day Mark visits the cemetery each year is the same day the war started and it makes Mark feel sad and angry because his brother died in the war. Mark is getting dressed and  When he puts on his war uniform jacket all the memories and things that happened in the war come back to him making him feel like he wants to explode.  so he invites his family to come to the cemetery with him and everyone comes. They start putting their flowers on the grave and remembering the good things about Mark’s brother like how nice he is. This makes Mark happy with the time he got to spend with his brother.

This week I wrote a story about a 437 year old kind and friendly alien called Bob who wanted to see some humans and earth so he went to see earth with his friends. I found using the sentence starter tricky because it was hard to fit it in with  my  story.  Could you give me some feedback on my story?

 It was 2076 on a nice and breezy morning 437 year old Bob the alien from Mars was coming to earth to try and see the humans with his friends. When they got there Bob was wondering how it smells so good compared to Mars and he was  excited to see all the cool things on Earth like something called trees. But when  the Aliens U.F.O was in midair the humans were all watching while there was Lightning behind them the humans wanted to fight and get everything ready. When the aliens come out of there U.F.O the first they have to run and With the world in ruins, they begin to board a  ship in hope of salvation…But Bob climbs to the top of the ship and shouts We are not here for war, we just want to spend time with you guys. The humans board the ship and   they go on a boat trip. Bob feels happy that he had the courage to  talk to the humans when at any point they could have killed him.The Humans and the Aliens live happily together forever.
